Vishnu had only ever known the streets as home. Being the oldest of five siblings, he needed a way to take care of them. A local gang trained him to be a professional pickpocketer. He was often sent to work in large crowds like markets and train stations. However, the gang often beat him if he did not bring back enough “loot.” Vishnu was rescued from the streets and his pimps in 2017. All of his family lives with Project I Am.
